Music in the Mountains celebrates its silver anniversary this year and continues to be one of the Southwest’s longest running classical music festivals. This year’s festival promises to delight audiences once again by celebrating orchestra, chamber music, and conservatory performances of classical and world music.
Artistic leaders Gregory Hustis, Guillermo Figueroa and Arkady Fomin bring some of your favorite acclaimed soloists and renowned musicians to Durango Mountain Resort’s Festival Tent, July 9 – 31.

Magnificent Mountainside Music
Enjoy the majestic views of the San Juan Mountains while listening to the sounds of Music in the Mountains with Durango Mountain Resort's special "Grass Pass." On concert nights, you, your family and friends can experience Music in the Mountains from our grassy area just outside the festival tent for only $5 per person (children 15 and under are free). Bring your own food and drinks, or stop by the Village Market and Deli to purchase a custom picnic basket and a bottle of wine from Kendall Mountain Liquors. A corkage fee is included with the purchase of a Grass Pass.
