This ladies only camp Feb 11 & 12, will provide two fun-filled days of opportunities to meet other women with similar skiing and riding abilities and improve your skiing and riding skills in a small group environment.  Today the Durango Nordic Ski Club is hosting their annual Langlauf Race at the Nordic Center. This is a distance skate race of 30km or 15km for adults, with shorter distances for juniors. The race starts at 10am and registration is from 9am at the Nordic Center. The cost of the race is $25 for adults or $15 for juniors. We would like to thank our local sponsors, Pineneedle Mountaineering, Boure Bicycle Clothing, Bread and Nature's Oasis for their generous donations. - - - Tomorrow, Sunday, the Nordic Center is holding a skate clinic at 1pm. There will be classes for skiers of all ability levels. Equipment rentals are available at the Nordic Center. The cost of the clinic is $15 for Nordic season pass holders or $25 for other skiers. - - - The Nordic Center is open daily from 9am until 4pm with trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing and snowshoe trails. Group lessons are offered every day at 10.30am or at 1.30pm or a private lesson can be booked at noon. Rental Equipment is available at the Nordic Center.
