LOCALS APPRECIATION DAY AT PURGATORY MOUNTAIN
Resort also hosts annual Pray for Powder Clambake

Durango, CO –Help Purgatory Mountain wake up the Snow Gods this Monday, January 16th with the resort’s Locals Appreciation Day and Pray for Powder Clambake. Lift tickets will be only $25 with a coupon that can be found in Thursday’s Durango Telegraph.

Ski and snowboard rental packages will also be available at discounted prices. Coupons for the $40 lift ticket/ski package and $45 lift ticket/snowboard package can be found in the Telegraph as well. Coupons must be presented at the Purgatory Main Ticket Office or Purgatory Rentals on January 16th in order to receive the discounted Locals Appreciation lift tickets and rental packages.

Monday afternoon, Steamworks hosts its annual Pray for Powder Clambake, in hopes of bringing more winter storms to the area. Brewers will be on Purgy’s Deck from 2– 4 pm serving up their award winning beer and steamed clams for just $1. Proceeds from the Pray for Powder Clambake will go to the Adaptive Sports Association. The afternoon event will also feature a live DJ and lots of free goodies.
