WINTER JOBS AVAILABLE AT PURGATORY MOUNTAIN
Annual Job Fair this Sunday

Durango, CO –  Anybody looking for some extra cash and a way to play while they work this winter should mark their calendar for Purgatory’s annual Job Fair this Sunday, November 11th at the La Plata County Fairgrounds from 9 am to 3 pm.  Representatives from hiring departments will be on-site accepting applications and holding interviews.

Purgatory is looking for employees in all departments including Mountain Operations, Food and Beverage, Hotel Operations, Ski and Snowboard School and Village Services. Employees receive a free season pass at Purgatory with unlimited skiing and snowboarding during the 2007-08 winter season. Employees also receive free lift tickets to other Colorado resorts, passes for friends and family, carpool incentives, discounts on the mountain and more.

“The job fair is chance for people to find out more information about the positions we have available during the winter season at the resort,” says Erin Hyder, director of human resources. “Working at Purgatory is a great opportunity for our local community to get involved with the resort and have fun while getting in some time on the slopes.”

Online applications are available at www.durangomountainresort.com to be filled out prior to Sunday and can be picked up at the Human Resources table at the Job Fair.

Purgatory is scheduled to open with Benefit Day on December 1st or earlier as winter arrives in the area.  The 15th annual Benefit Day will feature $15 dollar lift tickets with all proceeds going to Durango Nature Studies and the Durango Winter Sports Foundation.
