IGUANAS TO PLAY BENEFIT CONCERT
Purgatory Village performance to support KSUT Public Radio

Durango, CO - Purgatory Village will be music central this July when New Orleans band the Iguanas play a benefit concert for KSUT Public Radio July 9. The music begins at 7 pm in the Purgatory Village Plaza and is open to music lovers and dance enthusiasts of all ages.

The Iguanas, a popular band from one of the most popular music cities, fuse roots-rock, R&B, Latin and Caribbean rhythmus to create a contagious dance sound that has gained popularity in Durango. Their new album, Plastic Silver 9 Volt Heart, has earned acclaim from around the industry and the bands staying power (they've been around for 14 years) is a true testament to their likable and funky style of music.

Tickets for the benefit concert are $20, with all proceeds going to KSUT Public Radio. Tickets are on sale now at Southwest Sounds, Canyon Music and the Durango Mountain Resort ticket office. For more information about the concert visit www.durangomountainresort.com or call 385-2167.
