PURGATORY SIDEWALK SALE LAST CHANCE TO SAVE BIG ON SEASON PASSES

Durango, CO – Purgatory will host its annual Sidewalk Sale this Saturday, September 23rd, in the Bodo Parking lot from 9 am to 3 pm, in conjunction with the final day to buy season passes with big discounts over in-season prices.

The Sidewalk Sale will feature local ski and snowboard shops selling last season’s gear and apparel at discounted prices. Shops included in this year’s sale are Purgatory Sports, Performance Peak, Bubba’s Boards, Performance Sports, Ski Barn, Aztec Ski Rentals, Boarding Haus and Inferno Snowboards.

Representatives from Purgatory’s Snowburners program will be on-hand with registration information for the upcoming winter, and The Durango Winter Sports Foundation will also be at the event selling Benefit Day vouchers and handing out information about the new club. Benefit Day tickets are $10 for children 18 and under and $15 for adults, with all proceeds going directly to the Winter Sports Foundation. 99.7 the Point will also be broadcasting live from the Sidewalk Sale from 1-3 pm and Steamworks will be serving free root beer.

Saturday is the last chance to purchase winter season passes with up to $200 in savings over in-season prices. Season Passes are only $599 for adults and $349 for college students, and include two free days of unguided skiing and snowboarding at Silverton Mountain, three days at Taos and 10 days at Kirkwood Mountain in California. Season Pass Sale Prices:

Season passes will be offered at new sale prices through October 21st, before in-season prices go into effect. During the final phase of the Season Pass Sale adult passes are $699 and college passes are $399.
