PURGATORY HOSTS ANNUAL JOB FAIR THIS SUNDAY

Various positions available for winter season

Durango, CO – Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort will host its annual Job Fair on Sunday, October 29 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Department representatives will be on hand to provide information, interview and offer jobs. Applicants can learn about the fun working atmosphere at the mountain, as well as extra benefits for winter employees including free skiing and riding at Purgatory and discounted lift tickets at other Colorado resorts. Employees also receive discounts at resort restaurants and retail shops, free transportation from town, carpool incentives and friendship passes for friends and family.

Openings are available in all departments of the resort including Ski & Snowboard School, Food & Beverage, Lift Operations, Snow Removal, Equipment Operations, Lodging Services and Guest Services. Applicants should come prepared with copies of their resume and completed applications. Applications can be found online at www.durangomountainresort.com and will also be available at the Job Fair.

Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort is preparing for another great winter. The season is scheduled to start November 22nd with Benefit Day, where all proceeds from lift tickets will go direclty the new Durango Winter Sports Foundation. Lift tickets for Benefit Day at $10 for children and $15 for adults 18 and older. Opening Day for the 2006-07 season is shceduled for Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd.
