PURGATORY ALL SEASON PASSES ON SALE THIS WEEKEND

Late March storm drops 6 inches on the resort

Durango, CO – As fresh snow coats the resort, Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort is beginning to look towards next season with the start of the All-Season Pass sale this Saturday, March 24th. Passes will be offered at discounted prices with savings of over $300 for adult passes and extra benefits.

Adult All-Season Passes are only $529 and Children All-Season Passes are $229. Children’s passes are as little as $119 when purchased with an adult pass. Weekday and Flex Passes will also be sold at discounted prices during the early season sale, but are not eligible for benefits offered to All-Season Passholders.

The All-Season Pass offers unlimited skiing and snowboarding at Purgatory Mountain, and summer activities including the Alpine Slide, Mountain Biking, Hiking and more. All-Season Passholders get 3 free days at Taos and Crested Butte and 10 days at Kirkwood Mountain in California. All-Season Passholders also receive two free lift tickets for use before December 25th and discounts at DMR restaurants, retail and rental outlets and discounted lift tickets for friends and family.

The resort is working with Silverton Mountain to add 2 days of unguided skiing and snowboarding for All-Season Passholders; an update on this benefit will be available later this spring.

Conditions are great at the resort after a late March storm dropped 6 inches since Tuesday night. Forecasts are calling for continued mild temperatures and 4-8 inches of accumulation possible through Sunday. The resort is 95 percent open with Chairs 1, 2, 3, and 8 and a 50-inch mid-mountain base depth. The snow comes in time for this weekend’s Local’s Appreciation Day with coupons for discounted lift tickets, rentals and lessons in the Durango Telegraph and Durango Herald.
