LOCALS APPRECIATION DAY AT PURGATORY MOUNTAIN

Durango, CO – Purgatory Mountain kicks off the spring season with another Locals Appreciation Day on March 1st. Lift tickets will be only $25 with a coupon that can be found in this week’s Durango Telegraph.

Ski and snowboard rental packages will also be available at discounted prices. Coupons for the $40 lift ticket/ski package and $45 lift ticket/snowboard package can be found in the Telegraph as well. Coupons must be presented at the Purgatory Main Ticket Office or Rental Shop on March 1st in order to receive the discounted Locals Appreciation lift tickets and rental packages.

Purgatory Mountain has 100 percent of beginner and intermediate terrain open and 99 percent of advanced terrain open, including the Paradise Freestyle Arena home to this year’s Halfpipe. The resort will host numerous events in the month of March including the Dave Spencer Ski Classic March 3 & 4, Moonlight Snowshoe Tour March 11th, and Expression Session Series Jib Jam March 4th and Bigger Air, Bigger Hair competition March 18th.

Special spring lodging packages are also available for the remainder of the season including the Slopeside Studio Blowout: one night lodging slopeside in Purgatory Village and two lift tickets for only $129 per night.
