Virtual Ride on the Alpine Slide!

The snow has melted and the beautiful San Juan Mountains are now a lush green. Summer is here and the construction on our new Purgatory Lodge is complete. We have tons of things going on this summer at Durango Mountain Resort, so bring the family; you're all in for a good time. The Plaza is the central hub for family activities whether you want to fly high on the Bungee Tramp, conquer the Climbing Wall, shop around for a special gift, or dance to a little rock and roll...it's in the Plaza. Located in the new Purgatory Lodge, the once classic Purgy’s has been stylishly updated.  Purgy’s Restaurant will serve you indoors or out in our beautiful brand new state of the art facility with great service and food selections. For dinner, we switch gears and do a fabulous, but affordable dinner menu featuring steaks, seafood, pasta, and gourmet pizzas.  Even though the tables are candle lit and dressed with linens, this is still Durango...come as you are and bring the whole family!

Purgy’s bar features Colorado micro brews as well as a wide selection of your wine and spirit needs.  On sunny days, Purgy’s Cabana Bar is the best place in the county to enjoy a delicious Margarita or a refreshing cold beer after a day of fun mountain activities this summer.
