For Broadcast media, Purgatory offers three different types of video footage. The Purgatory Film Crew has on-site video and editing equipment providing quick and easy footage to you. Outside video crews are invitied to visit Purgatory and film on the mountain with the consent of the Communications Department. B-roll
Each season Purgatory compiles B-roll tapes for media members. The winter tape includes skiing and snowboarding, village activity and scenic shots. Summer tapes include Alpine Slide, Bungee Trampoline, Climbing Wall, village activity and scenic shots.

FTP:
The easiest and fastest way for us to provide you up-to-date footage is via FTP. With on-site filming, editing and FTP capabilities we can produce video for your organization immediately.  We will create a Purgatory folder in your FTP file for future easy use. And our film crew is always looking for a good excuse to hit the mountain. We send out the crew during big snow storms, events and perfect sunny days.

Video News Releases:
During the winter season Purgatory schedules video news releases to be distributed via free satalite feed. VNR's usually occur around major holidays, big snow storms and perfect skiing/boarding conditions. VNR alerts are sent to media with information including the downlink times, dates and coordinates.
