Fort Lewis College

Fort Lewis College is a residential public liberal arts college located in the same beautiful corner of the American Southwest as Durango Mountain Resort. Our scenic campus sits at 6,872 feet atop a mesa back dropped by the rugged beauty of the San Juan and La Plata mountains.

Our nearly 4,000 students inject a modern and youthful energy into historic Durango. The college's Community Concert Hall, #1 ranked Cycling team, NCAA Division II National Champion men's Soccer team, community radio station, Center for Southwest Studies, Theatre Department, and Music programs make sure our community always has exciting and entertaining things to see and do.
