Hey kids, are you ready to have some fun at Durango Mountain Resort?!

Durango Mountain Resort, or DMR as many people call it, is home to the Snow Monsters!

What are the Snow Monsters?  They're not scary, they are furry, and they love to play in the snow...just like you!  Check out the KIDS ONLY Snow Monster's website when you click here.

If you're going to come up to DMR, here's a few things you may want to remember:

• Make sure to bring sunglasses or goggles. It’s really sunny here and you’ll want to protect your eyes.
  
  

• Bring lots of sunscreen too!
  
  

• Our location is more than a mile higher than the sea (the top of the mountain is almost 2 miles higher!), so you’ll want to drink a lot of water when you get here in order to hydrate your body.
  
  

• Be ready to have fun and try new things!
  
  

• Dress in layers, where possible—that way it’s easier to adjust if you are too hot or too cold
  
  

• Wear only one layer of warm socks—don’t bunch em up and wear two layers—it can cause blisters
  
  

• Durango’s Community Recreation Center is a great option for family fun after the slopes—a fitness center complete with pools and babysitting
