So Much To Do!

Summer at Durango Mountain Resort is a special time. We stay nice and cool during the summer months so that all our guests who reside in warmer climates will have a chance to cool-off and enjoy themselves.

While many like to simply lay by the pool with a refreshing beverage, some are here for our fun events. Events like the Muck & Mire on the Mountain...a mud race for every member of the family, even the little ones.

For over 25 years, Durango Mountain Resort has been hosting Music in the Mountains performances, gourmet dinners, and much, much more. These are only a few of the fun things going on...check the Events Calendar for more.

Water Runners

This year’s new attraction, Water Runners, will thrill all ages as you safely float, walk, run and roll on the surface of the water without ever getting wet.  Step inside a transparent bubble, close the air-tight zipper and away you go – walking, running and jumping on water – an exciting and fun experience.

Sky Hike Adventure

This new family ropes course is designed specifically for Durango Mountain Resort.  Climb over net bridges, wooden beams, rope ladders and more with this fun, family-friendly obstacle course. You’re strapped into a harness so it is completely safe to use and fun to master!
