Fort Lewis College

You know the real world isn't indoors -- it's out there. And you know that out there is where you want to be. So you'll be glad to know that at Fort Lewis College, your best learning will happen outside the classroom.

Fort Lewis College is located in the same beautiful corner of Colorado as Durango Mountain Resort. Our scenic campus overlooking Durango sits at 6,872 feet atop a mesa and is framed by the rugged beauty of the San Juan and La Plata mountains.

That means that in our outstanding programs in the arts, sciences, engineering, humanities, business, and teacher education, our classrooms are alive: At Fort Lewis College, the Southwest's diverse landscapes, businesses, communities, and peoples are your classrooms, laboratories, partners, and audiences.

Here, where you ski and ride -- and hike, bike, boat, explore, and get inspired -- is also where you'll study, experiment, research, perform, create, and find your path in the world.

You don't want to work in a cubicle. You don't want to think in a box. And you don't want college to be just a classroom.

Learn with borders at Fort Lewis College.

Seeing is believing. Campus tours 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. every weekday or by appointment at 970-247-7176. www.fortlewis.edu.
