There is so much more to Purgatory Mountain than just skiing and snowboarding. We offer numerous ways to get around the mountain and to enjoy the tremendous Colorado Rocky Mountain scenery we are known for while you’re at it. Whether you’re going up the mountain on snowshoes, down the mountain on a skibike, or around on Cross Country skis. Purgatory is also home to the largest snowcat operation in the lower 48 states, featuring 35,000 acres of backcountry skiing.
